The Oxford Advanced American Dictionary defines ‘a workshop’ as:
1. a room or building in which things are made or repaired using tools or machinery.
2. period of discussion and practical work on a particular subject, in which a group of people share their knowledge and experience.
We think it is both, as we like to use things we make ourselves to build, discuss and try out with a group of people on a certain subject (within the field of psychology). Inspired offers workshops and trainings that can benefit the individual, the group/team and also your potential clients!
Workshops that benefit the individual are focused on personal psychological well being. You can think of stress regulation, self care, resilience, mental health matters, psychological first aid or more in depth information about a specific subject from the field, for example psychotrauma.
Workshops and training that benefit the individual as well as team well being can take it one step further. This can focus for example on effective communication, optimizing collaboration and offer skill training in specific matters. Workshops and training on team level can be (but don’t have to be) preceded by the Team Development Program as you can read more about at Team Development.
