‘Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path’ Usually when we change direction in life, it is preceded by a problematic situation. This could be something small, leading to the desire to change it. For example changing a habit or daily routine. But for some people a big storm, a hurricane or call it a crisis is followed by a need to change direction. This takes flexibility, effort, a support system and more, to get you there. Not easy, but not impossible. First of all, be aware of where you are at the moment, everything you have overcome in the past, and open up for opportunities in the future. Think of what you value in life. What strengths you bring to the table and which strengths you can gather by asking for help. Set your goal, choose direction, and be proud of every tiny step in the right direction. Once you have chosen your direction, focus on the process rather than just the destination. Even a step back can be seen as progress, as long as you are willing to see what it taught you. And maybe you want to change direction along the way. Do you feel like getting nowhere?
