At the beginning of 2022, a Team Development Program was rolled out for the District Nursing department of the White Yellow Cross Care Foundation. The ambition of the District Nursing team is to have productive team dynamics, which goes hand in hand with the model of the Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team organization.
The Team Development program included a baseline team assessment on the Five Behaviors from the perspective of the team, resulting in a focus on trust, being the foundation of the pyramid, together with healthy conflict and commitment. The personal DiSC Workplace profile assessments that were included were focused on increasing self and team knowledge concerning preference styles, motivators, and stressors. Several activities took place where these first three layers were further explored and strengthened. This allowed team members to make a good start improving effective communication and making use of each other’s strengths resulting in the desired ambition: building productive team dynamics.
