Teaching at NIPA

In 2020 we were honoured to be able to contribute to the development of the study program ‘SPW’ at NIPA (see for more information on their website).

We designed and implemented the course of ‘Care for Persons with a Disability’ – a matter we both carry in our hearts. In this course we were able to support the students in understanding what a disability is, what it means for their guidance skills and how to support the quality of care in this domain. We experienced the transition from class room teaching to online teaching because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but were able to get through this smoothly together with our students. Switching to different mediums, adjusting to what is needed: we practiced what we preached. Resulting in students being able to do the same.
